International Symposium on Single Stranded DNA Viruses

From June 8 to June 13, 2025

Venue: Meliá Internacional, Varadero, Cuba

Organized by: Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology

We are delighted to invite scientists, students, and colleagues with an interest in Virology to participate in the upcoming International Symposium on Single-Stranded DNA Viruses (IS3DV), which will take place at the Varadero Resort, Cuba, from June 8 to 13, 2025.

The primary objective of this symposium is to foster the exchange of ideas and expertise on ssDNA viruses across diverse host organisms, while promoting collaborations that can drive innovative approaches and advance our understanding of these fascinating viruses.

Over the course of the five-day symposium, attendees will have the opportunity to network with peers and engage with leading experts from the global academic and research community. This event promises to be an enriching experience, combining stimulating scientific discussions with the unique charm of Varadero’s coastal environment, offering inspiration, excitement and relaxation all together.

The Organizing Committee together with the International Scientific Committee will direct the scientific program of the symposium to the following topics:

  • Genome replication and gene expression
  • Structure, assembly and packaging
  • Defense, counter-defense and pathogenicity
  • Movement within and between hosts and vector transmission
  • Mutation, recombination and evolution
  • Epidemiology and dynamics of infections
  • Virus discovery and ecology

Sponsorship Speech

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to launch a call to be a sponsor of the International Symposium on Single Stranded DNA Viruses (IS3DV-2025). IS3DV is the most important meeting around the World dedicated to single stranded DNA (ssDNA) viruses, worldwide recognized as important biological issues for many living organisms of different species and kingdoms. Even in humans ssDNA viruses have been found and characterized.

The primary objective of this symposium is to foster the exchange of ideas and expertise on ssDNA viruses across diverse host organisms, while promoting collaborations that can drive innovative approaches and advance our understanding of these fascinating viruses.

As sponsor, you will have access to the top world scientific community working on these topics and it will be a very good opportunity to promote your organization in this framework with the objective that attendees learn more about your specific businesses.

The IS3DV-2025 Organizing Committee will be extremely grateful that you, as sponsor, take your time and budget to help more people to participate in this Symposium opting for any of the following Sponsorship Packages:

Sponsorship Alternatives:

  • Financing the participation of outstanding speakers.
  • Financing one of the collateral congress’s activities
